Installing a new door is a common homeowner project. You can upgrade exterior doors to improve energy efficiency or swap out interior doors to change the style of your décor. When installing a new door, you may need to change out the door frame. Exterior doors may come pre-hung; this means the door has a frame attached to it and is ready for installation. Interior doors do not usually come like this, although you may be able to find them at a local hardware supply center.
