Cut through the nails holding the door frame to the wall using the saw. Cut between where the door frame and wall meet, all around the frame. Pull the sliding door out of the opening.

Insert the new window into the opening. Use the nails and hammer to nail the window frame to the wall. Hammer nails all around the inner part of the window frame where the frame meets the wall.

Apply caulk around the entire perimeter of the window frame and trim where any air might leak in.
