  1. Hanging a Vapor Barrier

      Set up scaffolding. Make sure it is assembled correctly, otherwise it will fall apart. Measure the surface you are hanging the vapor barrier.

      Calculate how much vapor barrier you will need. Cut that amount. It is okay to overlap.

      Hang the first sheet of vapor barrier stapling it on the ceiling joists. The staples should be about 12 inches apart. Continue doing this until the entire surface is covered.
