How do I Hang a Quoizel Chandelier?

While it can be intimidating to install a new chandelier, installing a Quoizel chandelier is similar to installing most brands of chandeliers. Instructions

      Shut off the power to the area where the Quoizel chandelier is to be installed.

      Remove the old chandelier or light fixture. Use a screwdriver to disconnect the light fixture from the electrical box. Remove the wire nuts from the top of the wires and finish removing the light fixture from the ceiling box.

      Screw the crossbar to the electrical box in the ceiling with a screwdriver and the included box screws.

      Assemble the Quoizel chandelier per manufacturer directions. Each Quoizel chandelier is different and will require different assembly instructions. Attach the chandelier to the crossbar with a wrench and the included hex nuts.

      Strip the ends of the wires in the new Quoizel chandelier. Use wire strippers to remove the plastic sheathing approximately 1/2 inch from the end of the wires.

      Make the wiring connections between the Quoizel chandelier and the ceiling electrical box. Match the black wires from the chandelier and the electrical box. Twist the ends of the wires together and screw a wire nut over the top of the wires. Repeat with the white wires and the ground wires.

      Attach the canopy to the electrical box in the ceiling with a screwdriver. Turn on the power to the electrical box in the ceiling.
