Measure the distances of your cable run. The route you want the speaker wire to follow is up to you, but routing the wire around the edges of the ceiling may make the installation less obtrusive.
Purchase wire channels at a home improvement or audio supply store. Choose speaker wire channels with a self-adhesive backing as it's the easiest to install. Wire channels come in straight sections, so if you have to make turns with the channels, purchase the appropriate accessories.
Cut the channels to length with a utility knife. Apply each section of wire channel by peeling off the backing on the self-adhesive strip and sticking the channel to the wall or ceiling.
When the channels have been placed, pry open the side of the channel with your fingers and slide the speaker wire into the channel, working along the length of the channel until all the speaker wire has been inserted.
