How to Nail Carpet in Concrete Floor Without Tacks

Installing carpet usually requires tack strips. These strips are placed along the edge of the wall and grip the carpet to keep it in place. However, if you don't have tack strips or you opt not to use them, you can install carpet using nails. The result won't look as attractive as tack strips and may only last a few years but it will work. This solution may be desirable in a basement where you want to install carpet quickly without buying extra supplies.
