You can request your home to be tested.This could provide various testings of the air quality in your home.This can be quite expensive,I would advise this maybe as a last resort.

The best way yet to detect mold is simlpy to see and smell it.Look for areas in the home that mold may be present.Mold's favorite places happen to be bathrooms,kitchens,and basements.Check any area that may have a lot of moisture.Remember mold can be any color.Red,black,green,purple,or any other color.If you can see or smell mold,then you have mold.It is pretty simple.

Mold usually carries a musky odor.Some might describe the smell as 'musty'.
