  1. Dry Compound

    • In this method, you scatter a compound over the carpet and a machine works it in. It absorbs the dirt and you vacuum it up once dry.

    • Dry foam cleaning uses foam to absorb the dirt in your carpet. Once the foam dries, vacuum the area.

    Dry Chemical

    • Dry chemical cleaning involves the application of a cleaning solution to the carpet. Then you use a machine with a large pad to remove the dirt. You must replace the pads often.

    Hot Water Extraction

    • Hot water extraction carpet cleaning requires a machine to apply a mixture of hot water and cleaning solution to the carpet. Use the same machine to extract the liquid mixture and the dirt. This method leaves your carpet damp, so allow drying time.

    Spot Cleaning

    • Spot carpet cleaning is best for small messes like spills. Carpet spot cleaners are foam or liquid, and you apply them directly to the spot. Allow the cleaner to sit or work it in according to the instructions, then wipe it up. This method leaves a damp spot on your carpet, so allow for drying time.
