How to Repair Crushed Carpet Fibers

Crushed carpet fibers are often the result of heavy furniture sitting on your carpet over a long period of time. You will most likely notice these crushed fibers when you move furniture or move into a home recently vacated by someone with heavy furniture sitting on the carpet. Fortunately, this is not a serious problem, although it may take a few days and repeated treatments to correct the problem. Longer carpets fibers may also require more work to correct.
