Open the legs on both sides of the stand. When you hear the brass pins click, the legs are in locked position.
Turn the tool mount handles to the "unlock" position. The miter saw will not slide into the stand if the handles are in the "lock" position.
Place the miter saw on the tool mount so the bottom of the saw engages the main beam. Tighten the tool mount handles.
Place cutting material evenly on the stand. If the cutting material is too far to one side, the opposite end of the stand may be lifted off the ground. To avoid this, hold down the opposite side before cutting the material.
Turn on the miter saw. Feed the cutting material through the miter saw to cut the material. Turn off the miter saw after use.
