Mobile Home Parks in Tonopah, Nevada

Tonopah is affectionately referred to by its residents as the "Queen of the Silver Camps," after the discovery of silver in 1900 prompted the town's construction. It is the seat of Nye county, Nevada, and has a population of 2,627 (as of the 2000 census). It is home to a number of mobile home parks offering various amenities, two elementary schools, a high school and a sheriff's department. Other local amenities include the Tonopah Historic Mining Park and the Central Nevada Museum.
  1. Joy Land RV Park

    • Open year-round, Joy Land RV Park hosts 48 RV pull-through sites accommodating vehicles up to 60 feet long. The park is pet- and family-friendly with a quad and motorbike track for residential use, TV, laundry facilities and a picnic area. A dump station and Wi-Fi are also available, and tent camping is allowed, should you have extra guests.

    Pine Creek

    • Famed for its solitude, Pine Creek lies at the base of a canyon 10 miles north of Tonopah on the borders of Toiyabe National Forest. It has 24 RV berths with full hookups, each equipped with a fire pit and barbecue. An RV dumpstation is also available, as is Wi-Fi access. Food is available during the high months, and the site is set up to be wheelchair friendly. The site is intersected by a creek and well-mapped hiking trails.

    Tonopah Station

    • Tonopah Station began as a casino and hotel before adding a 20-site RV park to the rear. All 20 spaces offer 30-amp electrical, sewer and water hookups. The park also allows pets, has a group rally area, laundry facilities, high-speed Internet and full disabled access. The site is open year-round.

    Sunrise Valley RV park

    • Sunrise Valley RV park is the next nearest RV park to Tonopah. It lies 35 miles northeast of Tonopah on I-95 and has been open since 1989. Along with Wi-Fi and laundry facilities, Sunrise Valley offers 30- and 50-amp hookups to all of its large RV berths. A small shop on site sells RV supplies, diesel and gas.
