Cut one end of both of the 68-inch boards at a 30-degree angle. Use your compound miter saw, and do not alter the length of the boards.
Lay the 65-inch board flat and position the 30-degree cuts on the 68-inch boards against the sides of the 65-inch board. There should be one board on each side, and the three ends should be flush. You should have an A-shape with the two 68-inch boards creating a 60-degree angle. Drill a 1/4-inch hole through the three boards at the top of the "A," 2 inches away from the end of the 65-inch board. Insert the bolt through the holes, and screw the wing-nut around the bolt.
Lay your 26-inch board perpendicularly on top of the 65-inch board so it is 30 inches away from the end with the bolt. The ends of the 26-inch board should each be 12 inches away from the sides of the 65-inch board. Screw the 26-inch board to the 68-inch board using two screws.
Screw a screw-hook to the 13-inch center of the 26-inch board on the side that is facing the 65-inch board. Screw the last screw-hook into the 65-inch board so it is 31 inches away from the end with the bolt and aligned with the first screw-hook.
Lift your photo easel stand upright and spread the 65-inch board from the 68-inch boards at a 30-degree angle and hook the chain on the screw-hooks to keep the easel in this position.
