DIY Band-Aid Holders

Band-aid holders are small wooden holders that are used to hold a few band-aids for easy access. They prevent the hassle of opening large cardboard boxes when just a single band-aid is needed quickly. A band-aid holder like this will fit in a medicine cabinet, on a desk, or any other area. It will be able to stand freely or lay on its side. A project like this is not complicated and can be done without the use of nails or screws.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw a line down the center of the 8 1/8-inch board so it is ¾ inches away from each edge. Draw a line across the center of the board so it is 4 1/16 inches from each end. Drill a 1-inch hole through the board using the intersection as your center. Cut the board in half along the 1 1/2-inch line.

    • 2

Set the boards with the half-circles on end, parallel, 1-inch apart and so the half-circles are aligned. Set the other two 4-inch boards on end between them and 1-inch apart so the corners are flush. Glue the boards together in this position by running a small bead of glue on each 4-inch edge of the two 4-inch boards that do not have the half-circles drilled in them. Clamp the boards together while you let the glue dry.

    • 3

Remove the clamp and glue the 1 1/2-by-1 1/2-inch board to the ends of the four boards. Use the end that is opposite the end with the half-circles. The half-circles will allow you access to pulling the band-aids out of the holder.
