Lay two 15-inch boards flat, parallel and so their outside edges are 38 inches apart. Set two 38-inch boards on top of them at right angles to the boards so the their ends are flush with the edges of the 15-inch board. The edges of the 38-inch boards should be flush with the ends of the 15-inch boards. Screw four 2-inch screws through each 38-inch boards and into the 15-inch board. Repeat this step with the last two 15-inch and 38-inch boards. These are the sides to your casket.
Position your sides on edge and parallel so the 15-inch boards are perpendicular. Space the sides so their outside surfaces are 26 inches apart. Screw the 26-inch boards to each pair of ends created by the 38-inch boards. Use four 2-inch screws for each board. The corners to your casket frame should be flush.
Set one sheet of plywood on top of the casket frame and position it so the edges are flush. Screw eight 2-inch screws through the plywood so four enter each 38-inch board. This is the bottom to your casket.
Turn the casket over so it is resting on its bottom. Place your contents inside the casket and screw the last sheet to the 38-inch boards just as you did with the bottom of your casket.
Lay two 23-inch boards flat, parallel, so their outside edges are 80 inches apart. Set two 80-inch boards on top of them at right angles. Their ends are flush with the edges of the 23-inch boards. The edges of the 80-inch boards should be flush with the ends of the 23-inch boards. Screw four 3-inch screws through each 80-inch board and into the 23-inch boards. Repeat this step with the last two 23-inch and 80-inch boards. These are the sides to your human casket.
Position your sides on edge and parallel so the 80-inch boards are perpendicular. Space the sides so their outside surfaces are 30 inches apart. Screw the 30-inch boards to each pair of ends created by the 80-inch boards. The corners to your human casket frame should be flush.
Set one 81 ½-inch sheet of plywood on top of the casket frame and position it so the edges are flush. Screw eight screws through the plywood so four enter each 80-inch board. This is the bottom to your casket.
Turn the casket over so it is resting on its bottom. Lay the body inside the casket and screw the last 81 ½-inch sheet to the 80-inch boards just as you did with the bottom of your casket.
