Measure the wall horizontally from end to end with a tape measure, then divide your measurement by two to find the horizontal center of the wall. Mark the center on top of the wall with a pencil, and drop a plumb bob on the center to mark the exact vertical alignment of the wall.
Mark the vertical alignment of each column of panels from the center to each outer side of the wall by dropping a plumb bob and marking the vertical line at each panel interval. Use the width of each panel plus the required space between panels to measure each interval.
Measure and mark the clearance required between the floor surface and the bottom of the panels at the lowest row. Draw a baseline to align the bottom of each panel using a level.
Drill holes on the wall with a power drill using the template and instructions provided by the panel manufacturer as guide, then screw the bracket that will hold the bottom row of panels onto the wall using a screwdriver. ACMs are made by various manufacturers, and each manufacturer has its own style and set of measurements for mounting its panels.
Screw each panel in the lowest row one by one onto its bracket starting from the center to each outer end of the wall, following the plumb lines as guide. Place the shims supplied by the manufacturer between adjacent panels to maintain the correct spacing between panels.
Mount each panel onto the wall following the procedures mentioned in Steps 4 and 5 until the wall is completely covered with cladding. Remove any plastic protective covering and clean the cladding according to its manufacturer's recommended cleaning method.
