How to Disassemble Sure Flow Shower Fixtures

Heatrae Sadia Sureflow shower fixtures provide customizable power and heating settings. Disassembling the fixture removes the electronics and shower head from the wall in preparation for installing a replacement. The water and electricity must be turned off before you begin this task because the Sureflow is connected to both. Removing the shower unit leaves the water and electrical connections ready for a new shower unit.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the water and electricity in your home if you haven't done so already. The main water valve is often found near your water meter and the power switch is usually beside the breakers or fuses.

    • 2

Pry up the small covers in the center of each dial and remove the screws underneath. Pull the dials off the face of the shower unit and place them to one side. Remove the screws around the outside of the plastic cover.

    • 3

Pull the plastic cover off the Sureflow to reveal the inner workings. Undo the screws connecting the electricity supply to the shower unit. There is a brown or red live wire, green and yellow earth wire and a blue or black neutral wire.

    • 4

Loosen the bolt connecting the water supply pipe to the unit and separate the pipe. Finally, remove the four screws holding the unit to the wall in each corner. Pull the Sureflow away from the wall leaving the water and electrical connections behind.
