Insert the 3D Home Architect installation disc into your disc drive.
Select "Express Installation" to install the recommended software components.
Choose specific components to install by selecting them from the menu. This is an alternative to selecting "Express Installation," and is only recommended for advanced users who are familiar with the various program options.
Click "Next."
Select a location in which to save the program files. Click "Install."
Wait for the program to install. For Windows 7 and Vista users, this could take 15 minutes or more. Remove the disc from the drive after the installation is complete, and restart the computer. 3D Home Architect should now be available for use.
Turn off "User Account Control" if you receive an error when installing 3D Home Architect on a computer running Windows 7 or Vista. This can be done by clicking the "Start" button, choosing "Control Panel," selecting "User Accounts and Family Safety" and clicking "Turn User Account Control Off."
Remove the installation disc after turning off "User Account Control" and reboot your computer in "Safe" mode; this is accomplished by selecting "Restart" from the "Start" menu and holding down the "F8" key before the Windows icon appears. Insert the disc after the computer has booted and install the software as normal. After the installation is complete, restart the computer in normal mode to access and use the program.
